A Movie Lover’s Year In Review

Looking back over this past year, I am overwhelmed with the support I received on my reviews. I had the best year yet for my blog and it is all thanks to you – my loyal readers. I appreciate every single time you read, comment, share, or like my posts. Movies are such a huge part of my life and who I am so to be able to connect with so many people through film is one of the best feelings.

2018 was a big year for me. Compared to 2017, I tripled my number of total views, number of visitors and nearly doubled the amount of reviews I wrote. In February, I began doing a podcast and can be heard on local radio stations – Thanks to a wonderful friend and mentor, Montez. I also started to gather a following on Facebook, where I can connect with my readers and share film content daily.

In 2018, I gained numerous new followers on my Twitter, Bri Talks Movies, where Adam Devine favorited one of my tweets and Zach Braff retweeted me. On top of that, I got to meet one of my favorite directors, Alexander Payne, and fellow female movie critic, Ann Hornaday.

That’s not even all of what happened in 2018. Check out some more stats below!
