What to Watch: Streaming in October

Just as the seasons change, so do the movies on your favorite streaming services! There are several old classics and recently released films coming right to your living room. Whether you’re in the mood for a thriller, a little humor or some female empowerment, I’ve got you covered. Keep scrolling to see what’s coming this October!

The Kindergarten Teacher (Netflix)

What happens when a protegy becomes an obsession? We will have to wait and see…

The Shining (Netflix)

This classic horror film, starring Jack Nicholson, is here just in time for the ~spooky~ season.

RBG (Hulu)

When she’s not serving as a U.S. Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg is busy breaking glass ceilings.

American Psycho (Hulu)

If The Shining isn’t enough for you, check out Christian Bale as your favorite psychopath on Hulu.

Daddy Day Care (Hulu)

There is nothing scarier than a little boy coming out of the bathroom saying he “missed”… Hulu comes to the rescue, taking on Daddy Day Care after Netflix removed it earlier this year.

You Were Never Really Here (Amazon Prime)

Remember when Joaquin Phoenix said he was quitting acting? Yeah, I’m glad that was short lived. Check out the film that’s giving him Oscar buzz.

Carrie (Amazon Prime)

Tis the season to be… Carrie?

The Post (HBO Now)

Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. Do you really need anymore convincing? If so, you’re crazy…but you can check out my review here.

Happy fall streaming, everyone!
