With the lengthy list of films hitting theaters this fall season, I thought it would be helpful to let you know which ones you should rush to the box office for or which ones you should pass on.
What movie are you most looking forward to this fall? Let me know in the comments below!
A Simple Favor – September 14
Blake Lively has never impressed me with her acting chops and just by watching this trailer, I know this film will be messy and lack-luster. As they say on Shark Tank, “and for those reasons, I’m out.”
The House With A Clock In Its Walls – September 21
This movie is based on a children’s book but the trailer was a little too creepy – even for me. I am getting similar vibes to A Wrinkle In Time with this film so I think I’ll pass on this film as well.
Venom – October 5
You can NEVER go wrong with a little Tom Hardy, a splash of anti-heroism, and a whole lot of Marvel.
A Star Is Born – October 5
A Star is Born is the first movie of the fall that is getting Oscar buzz! Bradley Cooper sings, acts and directs but I hear Lady Gaga is the one that steals the show.
Bad Times at the El Royale – October 12
Bad Times at the El Royale looks deliciously swanky and marvelously dangerous. Plus, a full cast of amazing actors? I’d check in for a night.
First Man – October 12
Nothing like a good, all-American bioflick. Ryan Gosling looks stoic and determined as the first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong. I’m so there.
Halloween – October 19
For all you lovers of the original horror films, Halloween is just for you. However, I’m going to pass on this one, only because I am a HUGE scaredy-cat…
Bohemian Rhapsody – November 2
Bohemian Rhapsody looks irresistibly good. The music. The costuming. Rami Malek. Yes. Yes. More yes.
