“Everything I learned, I learned from the movies.” – Audrey Hepburn
I’ve been watching movies my whole life. I started off with Barney, then every Disney movie imaginable and now, I’ll watch almost anything.. if it gets a good review. I zone into movies, memorizing my favorite scenes, knowing actors like the back of my hand, and being very, very, critical. Movies have always been my passion. I can list off hundreds of useless, weird facts about movies but I can never remember things like the periodic table. I first thought that I wanted to be in front of the camera. I do enjoy making a crowd laugh every once in a while but I realized I liked being in that crowd even more.
Being in college now, I feel pressure from so many people around me to finally figure out what I want to do with my life. Most of the pressure is amounting from myself. I want to be successful in life, make good money, live the dream and all that jazz. But most of all, I want to do something that I will never get bored of. I want to do something that will be new and exciting everyday. I want to travel the world watching movies, attending film festivals and award shows. I want writers, actors and directors to pray that I will write a good review for them. I want to be the best movie critic this town has ever scene. And this is where it all begins..
