Nothing can distract you from all the things that are going on in the world like some dinosaurs and Chris Pratt. The story of Jurassic World continues with more action and suspense than ever before.
This heart-racing sequel to the revamp, that came out in 2015, has all the right elements for a compelling storyline that segway’s into a bigger issue – Dinosaurs were here before us and if we aren’t careful, they will be the only ones here after us.
Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt are back and ready for action. Their characters, Claire and Owen, must come together (despite breaking up) to go back to the island of Isla Nublar, where a dormant volcano is roaring to life, threatening the lives of thousands of dinosaurs.
Some new faces join the cast including Justice Smith, a nerdy and anxious computer genius who clearly isn’t cut out for the dino-filled jungle, and Daniella Pineda, a sassy dinosaur doctor who leaps at the chance to save her favorite species (and kick some butt doing it). Both bring a refreshing comic relief to a otherwise dark and thrilling plot.
This film is obviously a buffer, in-between film that carries the story to wherever they are leading us next in this Jurassic phenomenon… and I’m totally here for it.
